Four restrictions are amati geni (no light air (fire) lust), amatikarya (not working), amati lelungan (not traveling), and amati lelanguan (not entertainment). Not eating, not sleeping, and no communication.
The day after that, tomorrow, March 17, 2010, they just celebrated Ngemba Geni [open fire, open a new spirit] in the new year 1932 Saka.
According to the city of Makassar PHDI Chairman, Made Sukarta ,Nyepi Day celebrations this year take the theme of the National “Make Nyepi Celebration Momentum For Self Awareness and Adhesives Brotherhood To Together”.
